Salisbury City Council is set to start live-streaming and archiving video of public meetings.

The online debut of Salisbury City Council will be during the Environment and Climate (E&C) Committee meeting at 6.30pm on Monday, July 3.

Meetings will be live-streamed via Microsoft Teams, with meeting IDs and passcodes published on the web pages of each meeting. Recordings will later be available on YouTube after meetings have concluded.

The announcement that the Environment & Climate Committee meeting would be live-streamed was released via Facebook on the morning of Thursday, June 29, with a later notice on the afternoon of Friday, June 30 that further council meetings would be recorded in the future.

Salisbury City Council began holding meetings virtually via Microsoft Teams during the coronavirus pandemic, but recordings of these meetings are not available on the city council’s website.
