Easter fun had by all

IMAGINATIONS ran wild as children at schools and nurseries across Hampshire and the New Forest came up with their own special Easter bonnet designs.
Youngsters at Kingswood Day Nursery in Alderholt wore their bonnets as they followed a trail of carrots up to the school field where they found the Easter bunny had left them some chocolate treats.
Michelle Wood from the nursery said: "They were so cute and the weather held as well, which was fantastic. It was an absolutely lovely day."
The Easter bunny also paid a visit to Ringwood Infants School where the children followed clues to find their hopping visitor, who then handed out some chocolate gifts before the youngsters entertained their parents with an Easter bonnet parade.
Steph Atkinson from the school said: "It was a bit windy so the children were trying to hold on to their bonnets while they showed them off but they had a great time and the parents really enjoyed it."
The school then held a sale and raffled a donated giant chocolate bunny, raising more than £200 for school funds.
At St Ives Pre-School the children, aged from two to four years, also proudly displayed their homemade hats to family and friends.
Two pupils from the adjoining St Ives First School, along with their headteacher, awarded prizes for the two best bonnets and all pre-school children received a treat for their hard work.
Over £100 was raised for pre-school funds from the sale of teas, hot cross buns and raffle tickets.

What lovely activities, keeping children active and happy. If you have experience as a parent of any of these nurseries mentioned, or indeed, any other nurseries, in Hampshire, feel free to write a review of them on the WhereforCare childcare reviews and ratings website, to help out other parents looking for nurseries. <a href='http://childca
